Welcome to the ALA 2008 Salary Survey.                              Questionnaire Help               Payment Page


Quick Summary-Three Basic Steps:

The survey is now closed.

• Online questionnaire (for non salary questions)
• Salary (Excel file to be uploaded or online entry, see below.)
• Make payment to receive the Survey Report (click link elsewhere on this page.)

Your access to the survey questionnaire is as follows:

• You will be notified by email from the San Diego Chapter announcing the survey.
• If you are reading this, you most likely have received the notification or invitation.
• You, as the firm administrator, will be "invited" to participate in the survey with an email directly to you. This email will contain your unique link to access the survey questionniare for the non-salary questions. See below for a printed version.
• You may download an Excel file from this page for gathering or entering the salary information. This file, when completed as a salary gathering tool, can be uploaded to this site or you can enter the data online (see below).
• To receive the survey report, submit the appropriate fee. See link on this page.

The survey questionnaire is in the following format:

• The non-salary and the salary (dollar amounts) are in two separate questionnaire tools.
• The non-salary questionnaire is the first link you receive. Enter the data online. You can revise your data at any time up to the survey close date. Download the paper version to assist in gathering the information.
• The salary (dollar amounts) will be submitted by either uploading an Excel file or entering online. This Excel file can also be your tool to assist in gathering the salary amounts.
• The survey non-salary and salary tools can be done in any order.
• You can re-enter the online tools as many times as needed to make needed updates or revisions.

How to Participate It's free to participate in the survey however, the survey fee must be paid in order to obtain access to the final survey report.

Enter Salaries Online - You may choose to the the salary section online (available 8/15/08). Upon clicking the link, you will asked to enter your email address. This will be confirmed and you will receive an email with your unique link to gain access to the salary section of the survey. This is you're only access, so keep the email easily accessable. You may enter the survey as often as needed.
